Point S, an international independent tire and car service dealer network, announced it will be the official event sponsor of the World Cup Nordic opening in Ruka-Kuusamo (Finland) Nov. 29 - Dec. 1, 2013.

The event will gather all three Nordic disciplines into a single stadium. There will be ten World Cup competitions in ski jumping, Nordic combined and cross country.

Point S will sponsor the cross country 15 km men’s race on Dec. 1.

Since 2012, point S has been the official sponsor of the World Cup Nordic opening.

The company says its network operates in 27 countries and sells 16 million tires per year through 1,400 independent tire dealers and more than 2,600 retail outlets.

In North America, point S partners with the Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC iin the U.S. and Pneus Unimax in Canada.
